Who is this training for?
This course is suitable for IT personnel who are just beginning to work with Azure. This audience wants to learn about our offerings and get hands-on experience with the product. This course primarily uses the Azure portal and command line interface to create resources and does not require scripting skills. Students in this course will gain confidence to take other role-based courses and certifications, such as Azure Administrator.

Summary
This course will provide a basic knowledge of cloud services and how these services are delivered with Microsoft Azure. The course can be considered an optional first step in learning about cloud services and Microsoft Azure, before taking additional courses on Microsoft Azure or Microsoft cloud services. The course will cover the general concepts of cloud computing as well as general cloud computing models and services such as public, private, and hybrid cloud and infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS). It will also cover some core Azure services and solutions, as well as key services related to security, privacy, compliance, and trust. It will also cover the pricing and support services available with Azure.

Approach and methodology
Practical and structured approach combining focused theory and guided workshops. Participants gradually discover the fundamentals of Microsoft Azure through concrete exercises inspired by professional scenarios, promoting an immediate application of the learnings.
They learn to understand key cloud concepts, explore key Azure services, and identify solutions that fit business needs.
Led by a Microsoft certified trainer, the training focuses on interactivity and the development of directly transferable skills to effectively learn about the cloud in a professional context.

Recommendations
Optional Prerequisites:
- Have an interest in cloud technologies and digital services to maximize learning.
- Familiarize yourself with the basic notions of computer science (networks, applications, storage) to facilitate understanding.
- Consider this training as a first step before more advanced Azure training (e.g. administration or development).
- Continue learning by doing or complementary resources to consolidate what has been learned (labs, exercises, Microsoft Learn paths).
- General knowledge of computer science or IT concepts may be an asset, but not required.
