Course outline
System Requirements: If you are taking this online course, you must use a computer that meets the following criteria:
- A high-speed internet connection
- An up-to-date web browser
- A PDF reader
- One of the following: HTML 5 support or Up-to-date Java Runtime Environment (JRE) with the Java plugin enabled in your web browser It is recommended to use a wired Ethernet connection, rather than a WiFi connection. Firewalls, including Windows Firewall or FortiClient, must allow connections to online labs
Approach and methodology
The course takes an advanced approach based on complex and scalable scenarios, allowing to simulate real-world network environments. It is mainly based on intensive laboratories and troubleshooting, to develop analysis and optimization skills. The learning is geared towards design, performance and incident resolution, at the expert level.

Advanced networking knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with FortiGate and FortiManager. It is recommended that you are proficient in the following topics or have equivalent experience: FortiGate Security or equivalent content
